Additional Notes: A. W. Collins, Sr., is the man on the right holding his hat in front of him and beside the barefoot boy. William Jennings Bryan who was running for President is beside the train door to the left of the woman. Mr. Bryan was most famous for being the lawyer opposing evolution at the "Monkey Trial" in Dayton, Tennessee in 1925. He died a week after the trial. He ran for President in 1896, 1900, and 1908. It is unknown which campaign this was during. Supposedly AW Collins Sr. was actively involved in Democratic politics.

Also Pearl Foster Collins is standing on the porch on the far right and holding her son, A. W. Collins, Jr.. The thin boy, a grandson, on the left by the post and wearing the white bow tie is Rev. William Thomas McElroy, Jr., a Presbyterian Minister and Editor of the Christian Observer, a Presbyterian weekly newspaper. The smaller girl sitting on the steps to (our) right of the boy is Frances Collins (Loftin), aunt of Collins Chew and the Mother of Gay Sharp.
